Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork are going to record a new album under the Monkees logo for the 50th Anniversary, in addition to doing a tour. As of now, Mike Nesmith is not involved in either.

I heard Nesmith is contributing one song.

I was born in 1970. I've been hoping Mike would be more involved my entire life!

I'm excited about the album and more excited I will finally get to see them in concert. I've waited since I was 10. That's 30yrs of waiting!

Depending where concert is you can get a few digital download of it when you buy tickets. Sadly where I'm going there is no VIP option or download.

I'm disappointed Mike may not be there. Davy is already gone and I was hoping to as all 3.

I've preordered the album on iTunes, and the first two songs are already out. Both have a very retro '60s bubble gum sound to them & I like 'em a lot. Such a relief to hear songs that merely make you smile instead of hit you over the head with politics and anger.

Their new album is great. I really enjoy it. Their 50th anniversary concert is great too. They sang "She makes me laugh" which was great to hear. They put on amazing show. They are sure strong to be performers. Micky's voice is still very strong. I was in awe the whole time.
