I been watching the second season and noticed Nesmith comes and goes or doesn't show in a lot of episodes. Anyone know the story behind this... Something was up. And my god Star Collector and Daydream believer and Goin Down was all over the 2nd season as well. Zor and Zam was at the last episode. I know they are others. But those 3 I keep hearing in a lot of episodes. I see why they got cancelled. It was inevitable.

shareYeah it was a little overkill with Star Collector and Goin Down. Zor and Zam was remade and sounds completely different for the Birds, Bees and the Monkees album and it was terrible too.
shareThen 2nd season was hit or miss. There were some great episodes. But also there episodes where they acted like idiots.
shareMike also ditched out on a couple episodes simply because of 'creative differences'. I agree though, Star Collector and Goin' Down were featured in a lot of episodes, too bad the DVDs don't have an alternate soundtrack to play the songs that replaced the often repeated songs in reruns.
When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.share
