Monkees new album is great!!!!!

If you have not listened yet, the new album Good Times! is fantastic.

reply

So how can you say it's great???

reply

I really enjoy it too. Their 50th anniversary concert is amazing too. Micky and Peter put on a great show!

reply

I said it was fantastic and great. Birth of an Accidental Hipster is my favorite on the CD. Not sure what your are asking

reply

You said it was great even though you hadn't listened to it yet.

reply

I'm guessing you can't read. I said if you haven't listened yet, I would not be the "you" pronoun in that sentence. I would use the "I" pronoun.

reply

I'm guessing you can't either, for if you could you would have read the subsequent post where I explained it

reply

Sorry my bad. You were saying if "you" have not listened yet. I thought you said 'I havent listened to it yet and it's great'

reply

Back to the OP; the new album IS great! Such great summer songs! Me and Magdalena (both versions) is special, some of The Monkees' best work.

reply

The only song that slows it down for me is Mikes song. It's not bad, just out of place. Gotta just give it Time is quickly becoming another favorite. I see them in two days I'm Hammond Indiana and I can't wait.

reply

"i'll bring the chips and the dip and the root beer" could have bee the cd title.

"she make me laugh"
"you bring the summer"

reply

Yes the few tracks I've heard so far do sound good. I will get it. The Magdalena one is great. I liked it first listen

reply

which one is Mike's song, and does Peter sing lead on any? Honestly, i only know what Mickey and Davy's voices sound like.

reply

This is the only CD I've played all summer; it's so happy and bubbly and reminiscent of their original sound. It makes me feel like a teenager again, so I love it!

Why ain't you at the garden party you heathen?

reply

Indeed, it is a great freaking album. It was the main "soundtrack of my life" from late May-mid August, along with their other albums.
