Did They Or Did They Not.......

In the season one episode "The Short Tailed Spy", I've always wounded if Cinnamon and the enemy agent slept together. This is not a criticism of Cinnamon. If James Bond can do it, why can't an IMF agent?

I've seen this episode at least twenty times, and sometimes I think "yes", and sometimes I think "no". I can't seem to come to a definite conclusion.

Any opinions about this subject?

Good luck, Dan

This clever script slipped one past the network censors of the time.

If you look closely at the transition between the pauses where the commercial breaks should be inserted: the so-called "act 3" ends with the short-tailed spy seducing Cinnamon.

When "act 4" opens, the couple is watching the sunrise, and Cinnamon is wearing a different dress than the night before. That infers "yes" to me. That adds to the tension when Dan briefly wonders if she compromised the mission.

Absolutely! The other reasons that I like this episode so much is because this is the first time you hear is the music that I have always thought of as "Cinnamon's theme".

Also, all of those different dresses Cinnamon wears in this episode. I lost count after 14!

In any case, one of the better season one episodes.

By the way, remember when in the pilot when she comes out of the bedroom wearing a only a small towel around her? I didn't see the pilot until 2013 When I bought the season one DVD set. But when I did see the, my jaw dropped. I thought how did they get THIS past that censors?

Whenever you go, there you are.

And even as the end. You could tell the mission DID get personal for her. She had a tear in he eye. So that leads us to believe that, yes, she and Andre did sleep together.

Year later, Barbara Bain was interviewed and the reporter asked her out-right if Cinnamon ever slept with her "missions" and Barbara laughed and said the guys pretty much got her out of it before it got that far.
BUT she also said that Cinnamon would never sleep around on a mission ... unless she really wanted to.

I have come to the conclusion that although she had slept with Hans, saying at one point that she "wasn't pretending last night" definitely gives the impression that SOMETHING happened. Notice that that evening though the set looks the same (indicating that it was meant to be Cinnamon's apartment), she is wearing a different outfit the next morning

In any case, I think that between all of us, we've got the whole thing figured out.

Rest In Peace, Steven "Daniel Briggs" Hill
