This has just been released.
You can find this on eBay, but beware -- these are unlicened versions, most likely recorded from the recent broadcasts on Encore's Action Channel. 20th Century Fox has not yet released an "official" version.
shareThere were two "instant movies" cut together from episodes of the series back in the 1970s. One was called THE GREEN HORNET and the other was FURY OF THE DRAGON. In the U.S., THE GREEN HORNET had a VHS and DVD release (DVD included a look at the Black Beauty as a bonus feature). According to the package, FURY OF THE DRAGON was to soon be released to DVD, as well. That was over two years ago, and so far it's only seen a European release. (If I recall, I think even the initial GREEN HORNET DVD is out of print, now.) Given how high profile the Adam West BATMAN series was, since Fox & Greenway (who also did GREEN HORNET) have yet to release that show on DVD, I am not holding my breath for them to release GREEN HORNET, either. This may be a situation where the filmmakers will drag their heels and fail to make a profit, but the bootleggers will clean up because they're the only ones to deliver the goods.

shareAn "official" release of The Green Hornet is unlikly to come anytime soon. The licencing rights to both this and the Batman TV series have been tied up in the courts for years. Who actually owns the show is a real legal mess that doesn't seem to be getting cleared up. Perhaps the upcomming movie will light a fire under their butts to settle.
Be very careful about buying copies from eBay. Most of the DVD's being offered are copies of copies. Few are complete, and are of poor quality. Many of the dealers disapear during, or shortly after the end of the auction. I did a lot of homework to find out.
