Just a Great TV Show!!

I am in my mid 40s and I remember all to well watching Batman & Robin as well as The Green Hornet in reruns in the late 1960s and in the 1970s and I remember as a kid loving B&R and hating TGH.

Funny how 40yrs later can really change ones mind.

For the past couple of years I have been watching TGH on cable with its pristine well preserved prints and it is Awesome!

I will still watch on occasion B&R on TV land but sometimes its almost unbearable to sit through.

TGH is all class and much more for adults, especially since people actually got killed on TGH.

Also I have to say Wende Wagner was just beautiful.

Just a great TV show :)

What channel[s] have you been watching The Green Hornet on? I'd love to see it again, even more I'd love to buy the series on DVD.

I remember that Encore Action or Mystery used to run the series a couple years ago, but I haven't seen it on TV since.

Have you seen d'Aurélien POITRIMOULT's 2006 Green Hornet fan film? It's great, check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

If you'd like to see it in better quality head to the fan film's web site. And check under "VIDEOS"

Too bad Seth Rogen [the guy putting together the current movie project over at Sony/Columbia] seems intent on making a comedy/campy Green Hornet movie...

Yes I have and it's very cool. I emailed the filmakers of that Sony's email info a while ago.

"Too bad Seth Rogen [the guy putting together the current movie project over at Sony/Columbia] seems intent on making a comedy/campy Green Hornet movie... "

Look on the bright side. Seth Rogen's proposed comedy is most likely dead as Stephen Chow left this last December and has not been replaced. If not it will be when Observe and Report comes out Easter Weekend and bombs. Keep the faith!

Meanwhile look forward to getting new reading material!

The Green Hornet theme music is catchy. The theme itself is an homage to Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov's The Flight of the Bumblebee.
