Get ready!
It's obviously to tie in to the new movie's release.
The GREEN HORNET Strikes Again!
The GH marathon will begin at 10:00AM,Tuesday,January 11 & run up to 11:00PM. That will include all 26-episodes of the 1966-'67 TV show.

Sadly I don't get the SYFY channel here.
But MeTV will also air a marathon on 1/15/2011. 22 episodes total according to their online schedule.
I don't know what--or where--MeTV is, but it's a shame to hear that they are leaving out four episodes, as 26 were made, and all are scheduled on Syfy here in the USA. I hope that two of those four are "Invasion from Outer Space" parts 1 & 2, as they are the worst, IMHO (and I know that I'm not alone).
The GREEN HORNET Strikes Again!
Bump!
shareMETV is a local Chicago based cable channel. According to their ads here they went national recently. Around here they have 5 channels total, from The U, UToo, MeTV, MtToo and This and air on 360-356.

Ready?
I've been ready for over 40 years, ever since the last time I saw these episodes!
A note about the scheduled time powersroc posted. 10a.m. to 11p.m. is Eastern Time zone.
And to Syfy channel; THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
"V" the mini-series last week, and this week Black Beauty rides again!
Yes, Sci Fi Channel: Thanks for airing these chopped up, banner advertised episodes as they were originally seen!! These episodes were 25 minutes long in 2005 when they aired on the encore action channel and I bet they will barely be more than 20 minutes long on the sci fi channel I look forward to seeing what scenes are cut out!!
shareI was born in 1966 and heard about these shows from my family since I was a kid. I figured the show was camp like Batman, but I'm stunned that it's a serious show! I can't believe how good it is for the period.
Meanwhile, I'm now even more annoyed by the new movie because it seems like a comedy adventure.
There's a show buried under there??? I thought I was watching pop up video where you only get to see the pop-up ads for every OTHER show that they air. Too bad the current show I'm trying to watch doesn't get better treatment. What a *beep* network SyFy has become.
Watching only a few of these shows reminded me of why I wanted to watch them again:
1) To confirm that Bruce Lee was bad-ass before bad-ass was cool.
2) That car flippy platform in the garage might have been a model, but it's still cool to see it again after 45 years.
The rest of the show seemed to be too neatly wrapped up, although I understand that they had to squeeze it all into 27, or 25, or 22 minutes. Perhaps this would have done better with one hour episodes?
I'm glad they're giving people a taste of the original to juxtapose against the movie.
"Let's roll, Kato"
Hey some good news.
If you do get the new nationwide network MeTV (check your cable listing) they will be airing all 26 episodes starting at 10AM Central and running all the way to 11PM.
In the Chicago area it's on channel 357.
MeTV is doing a very good job on this marathon.
The only thing to put up with is the station logo bug, but they don't yap over the end credits or squeeze them over to promote something else.
The only bad thing is that they run one episode after another so it makes switching discs between them difficult. But it's better than nothing.
In a way it's too bad that they didn't do a weekend marathon and re-run these on Sunday too.
I've been watching a few episodes now and I have really enjoyed it. I had never seen the show itself, only the Batman episodes that featured the Green Hornet and Kato. Speaking of Batman, how funny that an episode I just watched had a bad guy watching the Batman series on TV!
Cool show, and is much better than that crap movie that is advertising.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
