...put on a mask & hat similar to the Green Hornet's, then go up to one of your friends or co- workers & see if they recognize you. I'll bet they do. Yet no one figures out that Britt Reid is the Green Hornet!

A couple of things,

1) Britt is the Green hornet at night when it's harder to make out details.

2) Britt changes his voice and demeanor when he is the Green Hornet.

And Mike's been working for Britt for how long? It's not as bad as Superman, though. Clark is simply wearing glasses for goodness sakes!

Full cowls don't work either. Long ago, my mom walked through the room when 1997's Batman & Robin was on and immediately said, "isn't that George Clooney?"
