shareFirearms (along with the rockets) were shown to be mounted on the Beauty, but I don't think they were ever discharged. Dean Jeffries included a storage closet that was never on camera or specifically mentioned, but when our hero changes from Reid to Hornet on her back seat in "Eat, Drink and Be Dead" and "Corpse of the Year Part 2," I'd have to say that this closet was "utilized." Can't think of any others, but I don't doubt you.
"Programmed for Death" for sure, although the Hornet's target was the leopard. I think Mike also got gassed in the aforementioned "Eat...," but I admit Britt initially knocks him out with a punch. Again, I can't think of any others, but am sure there are.
No doubt here: Scanlon was referring to the moveable fireplace that hides his secret entrance to Britt's den. Gas logs fed by flexible hoses rather than the expected metal pipes has always been my assumed explanation.

Good points on these BB devices that you point out,but none of them are what I'm referring to.Yes,Mike gets a whiff of the gas from the Hornet Gun on the "Programmed for Death" episode.No,"Eat,Drink and be Dead" does not have Mike sprayed by the HG,but Britt does land a punch on him as you point out.Bingo,it was the fireplace that Scanlon was talking about in "Crime Wave."I always appreciated that line by Scanlon.So often the audience watches TV shows where incredible gadgetry is utilized but the characters rarely comment on how amazed they are by any of it.They all simply take it in stride.It was cool to see such a human reaction by the DA.
