Do you think they should reboot The Green Hornet Television Series? I'm thinking maybe in tone of like Arrow or Burn Notice. It could be an hour long, feature things like how Kato and Britt met, How the D.A. And Miss Case came to find out about Britt being the Hornet. Here's my idea for the tv cast.
Britt Reid/Green Hornet-Chad Rook
Kato-Justin Chon
D.A. Frank Scanlon-Matt Passmore
Mike Axford-Coby Bell
Lenore Case-Kay Panabaker
The Shark(villain(s))-Jeffery Donnovan and Byung-Hun Lee
"It won't happen because the movie got bad reviews I'm not sure if it flopped or not".
The 2011 disaster was indeed a flop. I just read that The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, a 2003 movie that was Sean Connery's swan song as an actor, and also turned out to be a bomb of a movie itself, is in development as a TV series so who knows? Maybe a new Green Hornet TV series faithful to the original material with an actor who physically fits the dashing and handsome description of Britt Reid will come eventually and make us forget all about Seth Rogen who continues to play drug using slobs in all his movies.
It's not surprising that 'The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen' is being adapted as a TV show. The movie is an absolute gem that's underappreciated by many. I guess that since the movie's style was "class" rather than "flash" that's what resulted in its underwhelming performance at the box office.
As for the Green Hornet, one can only hope that someone (or some company) that still has some "class" will make new episodes of GH someday soon (hopefully very soon) using the same format as the 1966-67 TV show (but being an hour long).
Here's an idea for a neat ability any new Black Beauty should have: invisibility. Since the GH is supposed to be a "criminal" it makes sense that the BB have the ability to hide itself from any police pursuit. After all, reboot Batman's Tumbler had its stealth mode so why shouldn't the BB have something comparable?.
