This show could been so good.

Perhaps it was low budget, that caused this show not to be as good as it could have been, I don't know (I don't even know if it was low budget).

But, somehow, both the television and radio take what could have been a really good show, and fell short, somehow.

I mean, I loved the TV show. I was ten when it premiered, and I loved it. But, I just watched a couple of episodes, and, though I think they were trying to play it straight. To me, now it seems a little bit campy.

I could probably watch the entire first year, and be entertained. But, not like I was entertained when I was a kid.

I think one of the problems with the show, was that it needed to be an hour long. It seems to me like they are just flying through the stories on each episode. I don't know what else could help it.

And, the radio show, though it lasted several seasons, is even more disappointing, IMO. Somehow, and I don't know how, it missed the mark. For one thing, it had too much music, IMO. And, it wasn't cheapo organ music either. The other problem is, that for me, the stories are sometimes difficult to follow.

I wanted so much, to like both the TV and radio shows. I think the TV show is worth watching. But, I can hardly listen to the radio show. And, I really like OTR, and I really want to like it!

But, given the character they were portraying, it just could have somehow, some way, been quite a bit better.

And, the GH movie, done a few years ago was even worse, IMO. Again, this is coming from someone who really wanted to like it, going in. I watched about 30 minutes of the movie, then took it back to RB!
