So sad that Anissa became a drug user at such a early age and overdosed and died in the 1970's. You would never suspect it from someone like her. She didn't seem like the type of kid that would do that.
Anyone know the real story of her demise? I did hear she didn't get along with her mother at all.

Hi,one can never be too rich or have too many friends. Well,she was close to her father but he died soon after show ended,her mother was a stage mother constantly pushing her. When Anissa was doing show,her mother would make her work on weekends,modelling clothes and making public appearances instead of getting rest. she had no private life or circle of friends. She resented the show's attempts to keep her young,binding her in and making her wear little girl's clothes when she was a teen.
