Sherry Alberoni is listed as playing 'Sharon James' in this show. I'm familiar with Sherry's role in "The 3 Worlds of Gulliver"; she does a fine job playing 'Glumdalclitch' in that movie. Can anyone tell me about her part in "Family Affair"? (My younger siblings and I watched the program when it was new, but for the life of me, I can't remember Sherry being in it.)

shareActually, she played more than one character in the show. In at least one episode she had very dark hair and it was shorter (think they must have used a wig). Later she had the blonde flip (usually w/ headband) and was always named Sharon--don't remember the name or names of other girls she played. She seemed to be giving advice a lot to Buffy and/or Cissy usually about boys. I think her family situation changed --sometimes she had both parents, sometimes not.
shareI am watching season one on DVD. The first time I saw Sherry was in #1.10 Beware of the Other Woman where Cissy meets her in the lobby of their building. Cissy recognizes her from school. She said she was Sharon James, asked if Cissy was from out of town (People from New York don't say 'hi'), and said her father was between wives. This is the first time I am seeing Sherry Alberoni in the series.
