a Thought on the EPISODE 'There Goes New York'

there one where Buffy and Jody were scared of the "tidel wave" someone (Mr French, Uncle Bill even Cissy) should of turned on the Telivision or radio and and explained that if there really was a approching tidel wave that civil defense would have been brodcasting all kinds of instructions and evcauation precedures out of the New York city area

I'm not sure if that would've worked because Buffy and Jody were aware that many grown ups didn't believe the predictor and some did. The fact that people were divided (in the twins view) on whether it would really happen would make the fact that the "authorities" are not preparing for it, not matter.

Polls... One of the Main Stream Media's Jedi Mind Tricks.

I remember this interesting episode. Given the tsunami disaster recently in
Japan, it does make you think. This episode was quite well done, I think.
I dealt with fears that children have concerning their safety and security.

This episode also featured actress Erin Moran (later on "Happy Days") in a
small role.
