Is this worth of a watch today?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but as a big Batman fan, would this be worth a watch nowadays?

Tell me, do you bleed? You will.

It's especially refreshing after overtly bleak Batman like Zack Snyder's version.

I am watching reruns now and although I watched them as a child, I absolutely love them more now. So witty and clever. Makes me want to go out and call everyone a citizen lol.

Easily. The show is clean cut campy fun, which still makes a good point every once in a while. The more serious movies have their own merits, but nothing compares to the '66 version.

Definitely worth watching and enjoying

reply

Oh, definitely. It's a fun show!

It's as fun to watch as ever. Answer: yes!

I have the whole series on Blu-ray, and it's every bit as fun as it was when I was a kid watching reruns in the Burton/Keaton/Elfman era. It's light and campy, but never insults the character.

It still feels fresh and funny after all these years.

It's worth a watch. Remember, the comics at this time were just as campy as this show, so it was accurate for its era. I thought it was hilarious both as a kid and as an adult. It's pretty smart in that it knows how to play it all straight and never winks at the camera or anything.

I loved it as a kid, and these days I watch it with my son and he loves it too.
Things I noticed more as an adult and didn't pay much attention as a kid:
1) Julie Newmar
2) Season 3 is pretty bad (Yes even the Surfing competition between Batman and Joker).
3) Julie Newmar
