Funniest scenes.
This film has so many great scenes it's hard to choose. Mine were when Canoe gets stuck in the garage door, and when the old man next door calls the cops on his snoopy wife. Great stuff.

shareI have to say Ingrid locked in the closet, and then finding out Patty left her there to go to the movies, and also the scene where the cops arrest the old woman, and flat-out call her a man. This movie is actually hilarious, now that I think about it.
shareHow about almost every time DC and Dean Jones had close encounters? How did they get that (those) cat/s to be orenery on cue...And "Kelso" stifiling a sneeze and the mere speaking (or attempting to) of the word "cat". Now THAT'S an allergy.
shareHow did they get that (those) cat/s to be ornery on cue
My guess is that DC was just playing and that the ornery noises were post dubbed
I love it when the nosey neighbour next door is attempting to see what's going on but fails, so she runs across the room and falls over the table.
"Who, may I ask, put that table there?"
"Haven't an idea!"
I like the part where Patti pretends to be sick so she doesn't have to let Canoe in the house (because the FBI is upstairs). She has a towel over her head and speaks in this really faint voice, "I'm so weak", even though she's pushing the door really hard so he can't get in.
shareDon't forget the drive-in scenes! All of Richard Deacon's scenes in the drive-in, having the pipe put out on his head, running int the snack stand visitor not once but twice! And then his assistant jumping across cars, spilling the milk shake in the old woman's face, then jumping into the back of a Beetle.
shareDEFINITELY the whole drive in scene, from DC and the man appearing on the screen to them falling in the convertibles, that whole part has me on the floor EVERY time.
shareVery hard to pick the funniest scenes, as the movie was hilarious pretty much the whole way through. Here are a couple of my favorites:
The scene with Patti in the bathrobe. "Patti?" "Y-y-yes?"
The scene with the police arresting the neighbor lady. "You don't have the face for it!"

I got a chuckle out of DC meowing at the traffic light which, in turn, gives him a "Walk" sign (during the opening credits). Smart cat!
shareSo many....
Whenever Dan bashes Iggy like....
-"Why don't you let you scream out that window you bean head?!?!?" and Iggy just innocently shrugs back, "What'd I do?"
-After turning on the fan, "What goes on in that pea brain of yours?" and Iggy smiles back weakly, "I forgot about the loot, forgot."
DC moments...
-how he tricks the bulldog in the opening credits, and then later the bulldog outsmarts him
-getting the moth at the movie theatre
-meowing demanding at the meat place at end of opening credits, then two nights later when returning to meat place owner scrams him away and shuts shop light off.
-when he's bugged and walks by person starting motorcycle which causes Kelso to howl out in pain
-when he outsmarts the one FBI guy by going under tiny hole and back out again
-stealing the duck and making Blitzy bark like crazy, to that point where he tears a bit of window door curtain off
-ruining duck and Gregory's pained expression
Canoe moments...
-Kitchen privileges
-wiping hands on curtains, brushing crumbs under couch, and giving DC table scraps.
Neighbor Moments (practically all of them)
-using fish rod as listening device
-plumber dressed in tuxedo
-let's go back to beddy bye / who put that table there
-Good night old lady, I can't hear a word your saying
-you'll hear another scream
Also how the $20 flutters from the chandlier and the landlady takes it but yet doesn't even suspect a thing.
"Be excellent to each other...And....Party on!"
the scene in the drive-in movie theatre is wonderful.
