Goes on too long
That's really my only complaint. It feels like it could be much shorter, but it keeps going on and on and on. Oh well.

shareYou'll probably never read this, but--I so agree. I'm a cat-movie fan, but this one...should have remained in my memory. I think it's one of the worst of the mid-60's Disney productions. Really unappealing cat.
shareI agree that it is quite long. However, I'm not sure how it could have been shortened.
shareTo me: the more numerous scenes & events requires longer length in time to be made so humorous & hysterically funny makes me want to play it more often! & the most humorous scene was when Wilbur MacDougall (William Demarest) called the police on HIS WIFE. Elsa Lanchester portrayed "spy" Mrs. MacDougall great!
LAUGHING GAS' real name is Nitrous Oxide.

I agree. I don't blame our 21st century impatience either. Old comics new timing. Marx Bros and their ilk knew to make 'em laugh then move on or when to draw something out. It was as if for some scenes, the camera guys just turned it on and walked away to go to the bathroom and later no one wanted to leave anything on the cutting room floor. That foot print of the cat scene? Haley shoving the cat in his face making him sneeze? zzzz.
shareI agree. I liked it but felt it should have been one half hour shorter. THAT DARNED MOVIE!!!
