was so surprised by this film when i saw uncut on
cable.the colors are so great like 2001 almost in
last scenes.yeah giant alien skeletons remind of alien.
but the structure and sets are great in this foreign film.
story surprisingly good could make an interesting remake.
I agree. Director Mario Bava's masterful sense of garish style and eerie atmosphere really make this film a pleasingly creepy and effective blend of the horror and science fiction genres. The vibrant color cinematography looked absolutely gorgeous. Nice nihilistic bummer ending, too.

Agree with everything already said here. Also those are still the best alien skeletons I've ever seen.

The only thing that disappointed me was that the crew never fought those giant vampire creatures like poster depicts!
