Classic Duke Western

Four brothers meet at their mother's funeral after being separated for many years. They soon discover that things aren't like they use to be in their home town. Then they learn that their pop had met with a suspicious death, and their family ranch had supposedly been lost in a game of Black Jack.

Like most of the Duke's movies, there is a wealthy villain involved. The villain implicates the brothers in the murder of the local sheriff after which they are arrested and transported to a larger town for a jury trial. Of course, the transport is rigged, so the brothers will be killed, but they instead manage to escape. One of the brothers does get killed, but the remaining ones make it back to town. There, they use some fierce western gun-slingling tactics to bring about a little justice in clearing their name of the false accusations.

John Wayne, Dean Martin, and George Kennedy all gave outstanding performances. This is definitely one of those movies you can watch again and again. I highly recommend this classic western. It's one the whole family can enjoy.

I come here a lot because it's a well lighted place.
