Holy Die Hard, Batman!

This would be a good joke in any "remake" of Our Man Flynt - they could spoof that one of the characters is named Hans Gruber.

Yeah, but this came out BEFORE Die Hard, so it's an obvious hat tip in Die Hard to Flint!!

There's also a Dr. Hans Gruber in Re-Animator and there are over 10 other characters listed on imdb and one actor with that name. What gives?

The Hans Gruber in Die Hard IS a referance to Flint.
