James Brolin
Where in this film is James Brolin. I've been told he is in it as a technician but I haven't been able to find him.

shareBrolin is probably in 'Flint' as one of those nameless military officers pushing buttons and turning dials on the archaic computer equipment. For a long time Brolin was a 20th-Fox 'contract player' and as such was assigned alot of 'throw-away' parts, that really didn't expand upon his career to any great degree.

I think I found him. He's the technician on the submarine behind Edward Mulhare in the beginning of the movie. He also is in the background when Flint's coffin is in the sub.

What I was trying to say is I knew Brolin was in Fantastic Voyage -- and I know he is in Von Ryan's Express.
Mulhare is in Flint, but Brolin isn't.

Actually he is in it. His name is credited in this movie when you look him up. Also on Leonard Maltin's review, he says look for Brolin in small role as a technician.

yet, this doesnt appear on his film list too!

EDIT: I was wrong, its not David Janssen, its Stuart Whitman they look very much alike in their early careers.

As a lifelong Edward Mulhare fan, I have heard this before, but I have never ever been able to spot him. I have a bit of trouble even believing it now - as he was busy making another film at that point, but I have a friend who knows his brother and wife, so I think I will see if she can ask them if he was really in this film or not!
(There is another actor that looks a bit like him in this film, (and that scene,) but it isn't him.
