The exteriors were Oakley Court, a country house in Berkshire, England. Lots and Lots of movies were filmed there, like the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Female Vampires, and tons of Hammer films.
The interiors all looked like studio sets.
Its in HD on EpixHD.com now. Although not a good movie, the mansion looks nice and creepy in HD. I probably saw this back in the 70s on St. Pete's Channel 44 Saturday afternoon "Creature Feature" hosted by Dr. Paul Bearer (longest running horror host in U.S.) . "I'll be lurking for you..." was his sign off, lol.
