We clearly see the wife's face melt but then later when Boris Karloff goes to destroy the meteor, she jumps out and attacks him. How the hell did she survive having her face melt off? Or if it was someone else who attacked him, who was it???
shareI should point out that I wasn't fully paying attention to the movie, but I think the answer is rather obvious. Do you remember the maid that was reported as missing? Guess what happened to her.
I'll give you another hint. Remember the first monster that attacked the protagonist, as he left the mansion on the way to the doctor? That wasn't the wife.
I just saw the movie and it was Helga, the missing maid.
