I Love Leone Westerns but i might not much of a fan of Sam Pekinpah i think hes wild buch movie is horribly Over rated.
This was a realy good movie (Major Dundee) Charlton Heston fits into any role so easyily
I liked his westerns "Ride the High Country" and "Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia" more than I did with "The Wild Bunch" and "Major Dundee".
Yeah, um, mmm, *cough* *cough*
Personally, I'd say that Ride the High COuntry is his best realized film, but I also love The Wild Bunch and don't think that it is overrated in the slightest. I'd also recommend giving Junior Bonner a try if you like the idea of a more modern western, or Straw Dogs if you are looking more for a cinematic exploration of violence
