OMG what a greattttttttt movie!

I am still shaking from this movie's impact. Finally caught in on TCM. There have been Baftas and Oscars all around for this one!

SURE it was a masterpiece by Lumet. And oh the ACTING in this was riveting.

OK SEAN CONNERY but OH Ossie Davis, Harry Andrews, Ian Bannen, Alfred Lynch, Roy Kinnear, Jack Watson, Ian Hendry, Michael Redgrave! Oh what a marvel of emotions, such deep-lying emotions...

Yes, a masterpiece.

I agree, it was brilliant. I just finished watching it on TCM also, for the very first time. I had no idea this was directed by Sidney Lumet until right now. I'm really glad I gave this film a chance, everything about it was great. Probably Connery's best performance as well.
