Victor Spinetti, R.I.P.

Victor Spinetti, who played the mad surgeon-scientist in HELP! and appeared in all three Beatles movies, died in London on Tuesday 19 June 2012 of cancer. He was 82. A good obituary appeared the following day in The New York Times and (I'm sure) in many major British newspapers.

Sorry to hear. HELP was a great troupe. Besides Lennon and Harrison, we've also lost Patrick Cargill and Leo McKern.

RIP Victor Spinetti. I loved you in AHDN, Help, and MMT. You will be missed.
