'The Night Before' song...
"The Night Before" song has to be my favorite song here, but yet so under appreciated and underplayed...I wonder why, because it is a great song!!!

It's one of my favourite Beatles songs of all, and very underrated.
sharePerhaps part of it is that many, like myself, prefer John's songs overall to Paul's. I mean I have tremendous respect for much of Paul's work, but just not as much as John's.
But Paul's best stuff is great. Songs like Here, There, Everywhere, or Fixing a Hole, Getting Better. Even a sort of sappy love song like And I Love Her? Awesome.
But yes, The Night Before is a great song. Having said that, all the songs in this film are awesome. Like when they go to the bridge in You're Gonna Lose That Girl? Incredible. And Paul's other song here, Another Girl, is also great. Help, Ticket to Ride, I Need You, Help! All great.

I also prefer John's music overall. Yet I still like "The Night Before" best from this movie. With John's "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" right there too. share
I like to watch them playing 'The Night Before' on Salisbury Plain on a video from the film. The Beatles really look as though they're enjoying themselves.
I think the song sounds so fresh not having been played so much during the years. Paul McCartney admitted he had never sung the song in concert before, when he performed it live in 2011.
