There are frequently bad hairstyles and costuming in historical epics. But if you're thinking of Jesus' "haircut", of course Von Sydow was wearing a toupee.
One reviewer referred to it as "a bad, lanky wig". Perhaps the best haircut of all was Tely Savales's bald scalp.
