When I was growing up, it seemed like you could see this movie on TV at least once a year. I haven't seen it listed on TV for years. I suppose I could just be missing it all the time (with all the channel selections nowadays). I just broke down and bought the DVD. Oh well, it's nice to own. Just wanted to comment - wondering why it's hardly ever broadcast. It's a great, fun movie.

This is on UK TV today - 2.10pm on channel 5. I was reluctant to pay £8.99 for it on DVD so I'm glad I read the TV guide today (something i don't normally do!) and noticed it was on. I'm really looking forward to it!
shareI watched it as well! The ad breaks made it longer but once again, it was definitely worth the watch with a massive bar of chocolate.

Interesting.
When I was a kid in L.A. it was on ALL THE TIME. You could catch it a few times a year. But now, with a bajillion channels - poof. Nothing.
But the DVD was cheap, looks and sounds good and has some fun extras.
We're going to watch it the day after Thanksgiving with friends and have everyone bring leftover pie. :-)
