The Ball Scene

During the ball scene,
Jack Lemmon is seen dancing
with a Gentleman soldier.
I always wondered how the
censor let them get away
with it...

There's a goof there because one minute he is dancing with a woman, and in the next shot, it is with that soldier. It then goes to something else and as it returns to Jack, he is with the same woman as before.

Why would the censors have a problem with him dancing with a man? The prince was always so drunk he didn't know what he was doing and the soldiers never questioned or refused the prince.

I loved it, I think it was put in as a joke, I wonder how many of us notice it the first time we see the movie? I think it was hillarious! This is my all-time favorite movie!
