this isnt a musical

i havent seen this movie in a hwile but i'm pretty sure that there was only one song sung in the whole thing and i think that was natalie wood singing by some river. it was a nice song and nicely sung, but that doesn't make this film a musical. correct me if i'm wrong.

Well, no. Technically, there are two songs; Dorothy Provine sings a full song in the saloon bar in the western town. But you're right, it's not a musical. It can so often be mistaken for a musical, what with music being played in the background for most of the scenes. But to me, a musical is where the actors all burst into song at the same time? On that note, no it's not a musical!
