I just saw the preview on MeTV advertising that the movie will be on Svengoolie tomorrow night.
I noticed that Don Knotts is wearing the same "salt and pepper" suit and white hat he wore as Barney Fife, when Barney wasn't in his deputy uniform.
A real funny movie. Definitely worth watching.
I can't wait for this show. I've seen it before but I think it was about 30 years ago so I'm pretty sure that qualifies this viewing as a "first-time"!
I have a couple more hours before show time so I think I'll settle in, nuke some popcorn, and as always, enjoy a few adult beverages!

I have seen a few surprising titles come up on Svengoolie, but a Don Knotts movie has got to be the weirdest so far.
But I love Svengoolie and I am an absolute Don Knotts Nut. Don't think I have seen this one... Reluctant Astronaut and Incredible Mr. Limpett are my favorite movies of his.

shareThanks for the Thanksgiving wishes! My wife just came back from the store and apparently everyone in the entire state of Texas had the same idea 'cause according to her, the place was packed.
She went there to pick up a few Thanksgiving items and ended up spending a fortune. I think we have enough food for ten people and, this holiday, it's just the two of us!
Oh well... better to have too much than not enough...right????

shareI agree here everyone very funny movie last night ! It's actually better than I remembered it over 25 years ago for me when I last saw it on TV . Thanks to everyone here for your replies . Hope to see all of you again on next weeks Svengoolie film - " The Black Cat " from 1934 .
shareThis classic has been on DVD for years. On it's own, and as part of the ''Don Knotts Reluctant Hero'' set. The (Widescreen) transfer is excellent. And it includes the (also Widescreen) trailer.
