Why wasn't there holes in the painting?


Since the shears were stuck in the painting's throat, there should be holes in the painting, even if someone took them out and cleaned up the blood. This was never explained.

When Luther points out that he thinks it's a different painting, he's right. If you look at both of the paintings, they are very obviously different pictures. The implication is that Mr. Kelsey replaced the painting before the jury visit.

Yeah, that was never explained. It could have been either Kelsey or Simmons, but we never really find out who replaced the painting.
