He dislike Luther from the very beginning of the movie but no reason was given. Did I miss something??

It's like being in elementary-high school. There are just some people who are automaticlaly picked on by some stupid jock-type of person. It continues on to adult-hood.

I get the feeling Ollie picked on Luther when he was a kid, & it continued into adulthood. Maybe they're cousins or something.
