What kind of comedy is this?

What is the name of this kind of comedy? I personally call it "60's screwball comedy" but this movie and another one like "What a way to go" have a certain kind of style to them. Does anyone know the real name and if they could recommend other like these.

If you like this you should be sure to check out THE RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT, THE SHAKIEST GUN IN THE WEST, and THE LOVE GOD? which are all included along with GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN on the "Don Knotts Reluctant Hero Pack" DVD. And also the later HOW TO FRAME A FIGG.

It's the same kind of humor Bob Hope excelled at. In fact, if you liked this film, you may want to check out Hope's "Ghost Breakers". I refer to this sub-genre of comedy as "haunted house" or "fright" comedy, in which much of the humor comes from the comedian's frantic reactions to the scary situations. Laurel and Hardy did a great turn at it in "The Laurel and Hardy Murder Case", and Abbott and Costello practically made the genre their own with the numerous horror-comedies they made, with "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" being perhaps the most famous.
