Which character are you most like?

Hello all. Looks like this is the first post since IMDB went south. I was posting then under the name "zensixties". Just saw this film once again and yes, it's at the top of my favorite film list: #1!
Also I read the book, which the film closely adheres to; one difference being Dorfmann was named Springer and was British; the German was the injured man. Anyway I think I'm a combo of Watson (hatred of authority) and Moran (conciliatory diplomat). I think every character was essential in making the story AND the plane work!

I'm a retired engineer, but I'm not much like Dorfmann personality-wise. I guess my temperament is more like Lou.

This is a fabulous film, in my top ten for sure.

Hardy Kruger (last living cast member) was great as Dorfmann! And Richard Attenborough as Lou Moran too. Did anyone notice the stutter he affects? I think it was some acting experiment he was trying out, but it worked!

Same. I'm inwardly more like Watson, and have total empathy for how he feels. Outwardly, I'm basically easygoing, a good guy to work for; and I keep my thoughts and feelings to myself much of the time.

I love the Dorfman character, and I'm glad he was made a German for the movie. Dorfman's difficult and enigmatic personality makes it difficult for me to understand him. There's the air of a "mad genius" about him; and yet what seems mad about him is more his genius in overdrive than true insanity.
