So, killing men is right, huh?

I mean, why the hell should I watch a movie that glorifies murderesses? And I do NOT care for whatever kind of 'trash' it is. Btw, the chicks are not fat. Tura's face, though, is all kinds of ugly. Nice bodies, though.

This is a Russ Meyer movie... what did you expect?

reply

Your own profile says you like horror movies, but those NEVER glorify murder, right?

I have to see I don't see them as such, I'm too busy being scared (and wondering how painful it would be to die like that) to regard death scenes as 'glorified'.

No, they were more or less all bad except Kirk and Linda, and they are the only ones left at the end.

You watch violent movies, just to imagine the pain? Your posts just get weirder and weirder.

Pretty stupid of you to proclaim what a movie glorifies when you haven't even seen it. Though that being said, I don't care if a movie DOES glorify murderesses or murderers, given that films are fictional depictions not designed for the purpose of imposing moral standards on people. Yes, some films do have the clear intention of presenting certain issues, events, or people in particular (biased) lights, but do you really think this is what Russ Meyer ever set out to do? Or ANY action films, for that matter?

reply

Killing people is glorified all the time in war movies, horror movies, action movies, science fiction movies.

reply

Just because a movie portrays something doesn't mean it glorifies it. This was no different than any other crime picture from the 50s or 60s except it had hot chicks, creative camera angles and dialogue so campy it borders on satire.

If you walk away from this picture only thinking about the killing that may say more about your own state of mind than the director's.
