In case someone here hasn't heard the news yet. Actress Tura Satana (who played Varla in "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" passed away on February 4th 2011 at the age of 72.
Rest in peace Tura and thank you for starring one on of my favourite movies of all-time.

I had the honour of meeting her at a comic convention in El Toro (Toronto to non-denizens) only a year or so before she died and she signed my copy of her masterpiece.

It's been over 2 years since she passed and I still miss her very much. There aren't any other actresses like her out there and I doubt there ever will be again. She made every scene she starred in interesting and worthwhile no matter what movie it was.
