this seems a stretch but i wonder if tobe hooper was a fan. isolated ranch with three men. one big and dumb, one fairly level headed and has some good in him and one crazy old guy in a wheelchair.

just noticed it watching the movie this time round.
I have also notice small similarities between the two. Maybe Tobe have seen this, maybe he hasn't. Both are great films.

I just watched this movie for the first time, and yeah, I thought the same thing.

One thing I've learned is that every film has it's influences. Whether it be an outright rip-off or inspiration or if seeing the film had simply subconciously formed the framework for what the content creators thought was their original idea.
