Please don't jump down my throat with ...............
......"it would be a completely DIFFERENT movie"..... because it would not!
Does anyone wish that this movie took place in a more URBAN or SUBURBAN setting? I love Russ Meyer but I hate his use of middle-of-nowhere dessert settings. It leaves me empty and incomplete feeling. I LOVE Beyond the Valley of the Dolls because the setting is incredibly colorful and more fleshed out in a way.
Anyone else feel this way?
And this is not a big "shift" in direction -- like if someone proposed "What if Ed Wood had bigger budgets?". LOL.
