The quirks of Christopher Lee's Dracula

The Hammer horror Dracula quirks. Whether established by Christopher Lee himself or by Hammer horror I've noticed that the Hammer Horror Draculas seem to have their own quirk or trait.

Horror of Dracula - Always seemed to be in a hurry even when speaking.

Dracula: Prince of Darkness - Was mute. He didn't say a word through the whole movie. The story goes that Christopher Lee did this because he did not like the film's dialogue and refused to speak it. The writer claims Dracula was never meant to talk and that Dracula is more frightening if he doesn't speak. And yet he talks in every other film.

Dracula has risen from the grave - There was a dark reddish camera tint around the edges of the screen whenever Dracula was on scene.

Taste the blood of Dracula - Spent most of the film counting.

Scars of Dracula - Complained about his castle having been burned at least twice. This is the whining Dracula and yet also the most talketive.

Dracula 1972 AD - Had booming dramatic theme music wherever he went almost like Jaws.

Satanic Rites of Dracula - Tried to fool Van Helsing by using a bad fake accent for most of the film.

Bonus: Not actually Hammer horror but the film Count Dracula Also starring Christopher Lee as Dracula is the only one portrayed with the mustache Dracula was actually described as having in the novel.
