Dr. Goldfoot Double Feature Out Now!.

Now that the MGM MOD Dvd On Demand program has collapsed, the beleagured studio has signed a deal with new company'' TGG-DIRECT'' to distribute a number of the old AIP tites.'' Dr. Goldfoot And The Bikini Machine'' among them. It's paired with it's sequel ''Dr. Goldfoot And The Girl Bombs'' (previously unavailable on DVD in the U.S).Both are Anamorphic Widescreen and look great.The suggested list price is about $5. They are available at some WalMart locations, and a few internet retailers. I got mine on EBAY-and though the price is a little higher there, it's worth it to avoid a trip to WalMart-where there is no gurantee they'll be there, anyway. I didn't find them at mine. Here's to more good things fro TGG-DIRECT!.

I just purchased that double feature for seven bucks at a local cheapo mom'n'pop retail outlet in Central New Jersey.

since this it has been released on a triple dvd set also including "master of the world" as a "bonus film", well okey, this has the 1960's, austin powers written coloured all over it, apparently there were quite a few of these spy spoofs long before austin powers came along, all the while also mixed with a mad scientist and sidekick igor... movies from this era look like a storybook, what a weird flick, i wonder why i had never heard of it, that female sure was acting wild for a robot, but it really slows down after a while (about the same time as the demise of number 11) and a few times early on, and falls with copies of jerry lewis impressions, the real jerry lewis was around at the same time so it really cheapens the flick and becomes a bugger with all the fellas (all acting and looking the same) taking over more and more of the screen time and some comedy that seemed aged even in the 1960's, the movie is saved by vincent price and the female robots and the entire screen time should have been focused on that, on the sequel though, if they get rid of the fellas and hopefully is as up beat as the first part of this movie i'm looking forward to check it out. by the way, i've never seen price in such a jolly role and in outside setting, he's frequently in some haunted house, though this also includes something similar to a house of horror.
