CAMERA!

Gamera was the first MST3K episode that I saw. It was also the first Gamera film that I watched.

Kenny/Toschio has a lot of detractors, but I like him a bit. I was very shy, timid, introverted, and nebbish in grade school. Kids ganged up on me because they thought I was "weird". I kind of like turtles a bit. Speaking of turtles, there was an episode of Conan O' Brien where he held up a sausage in front of a snapping turtle!

I own DVD copies of Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, Attack of Legion, and Revenge of Iris. ADV video was nice enough to keep the Japanese soundtrack as an option. Shusuke Kaneko is a good director. He revitalized and modernized Gamera monster movies for today's audiences. Something Roland Emmerich failed to do with his US remake of Godzilla.

The MST3K gang also panned movies like Gamera vs. Zigra. I hope I can find some copies out there.
