In most cases they are hilarious: strange grammar use, extremely descriptive entries on sexual scenes, or as in the parents guide for gamera amazing subjective assessments of a movies content.

Which brings me to my question.

Where the hell do these come from , and who is writing them?

In this movies case it was written by user named digioverlord http://www.imdb.com/user/ur24728631/

These guides are written by users of this website by the same principle as wikipedia articles. anyone can edit it but there are moderators that can enforce stuff.
