R-Rated Remake/Knock-Off/Sexp loitation version

I remember sneaking into a drive-in (dating myself...) with a pack of adolescent friends in the mid 70s to see a movie with a similar collector/captive theme. This can't have been it...any ideas?

If you're wondering why I ask.... just watched Cronenberg's The Brood and was curious about Samantha Eggar, which lead me to The Collector, which triggered an old memory....

Look up Scream Bloody Murder. It has the same plot but low budget and with exploitation slasher elements. the main character loses his hand in a mill accident and then goes insane. He kills a wealthy lady and then lives in her house so that he can abduct a prostitute that he's fallen in love with and shower his affection on her.
