I've read the book several times; finally saw the movie...

This movie is effin' stupid compared to the book. The one and only improvement is that Miranda isn't an utter c * n t-bag in the movie like she is in the book. In the book I pretty much hate her and don't care that she is doomed because she is SUCH a shallow, awful biatch.

The absolute limit in this movie is how she catches pneumonia or whatever after being in the rain for a few minutes. LOL. Ooookay. Aside from the fact that people don't catch colds or pneumonia from going in the rain, period, the movie shows her coughing literally seconds after she comes inside and dead within three days. Wow.

And why is Clegg fracken' gorgeous in the movie? Not saying a man with a perfect face can't be a lonely, awkward weirdo but seriously, they choose a man who is inarguably hot to play a guy who is actually supposed to look something like Adrian Brody? No offense to Brody, whom I rather like.

Some books just shouldn't be made into films. This s*** wouldn't even make sense on its own but is made ten times worse because it is based on such strong material and falls short in every way. Oh well.

"It's Minnie Pearl's murder weapon."
