Lamp Inspection
Just before the big game at the end starts, the Kid takes a careful look at the overhead lamp as if he's looking for something and then looks at Lancey and they trade a smile. I was puzzled why he did it and thought there may be an explanation later on, but there never was. I suppose he was looking for some evidence of cheating, but what's going to be in the lamp (he also looks under the table before looking at the lamp)?
