...how come he was such a good mechanic? That stuff would take a gazillion hrs of practice, esp. to be good enough for that league.

I still LOVE the movie, though.

Just realized 'Ann-Margret' is her hyphenated Swedish given name -- cool.

I think, as Slade pointed out in their scene together, that Shooter was never as sound as he made himself out to be when he hesitated in accepting the $25,000 that would clear his debt.
