In the square dance scene anybody else think that the cowboy who eventually starts a fight with Jackson bears a strong resemblance to Mr Clooney?
Since the part is un-named it doesn't appear in the full cast list, I'm sure it WASN'T, but the resemblance is quite marked, wonder who he was...

Yeah....and how about the fact that George Clooney was 4 years old when this film was released?
Maybe it was his father or uncle or somebody? I don't know much about the Clooney family, sorry.
shareZipper69 - he did have some resemblance to George Clooney, but I thought he resembled actor Ray Danton even more (well known actor of the '50s & '60s).
But, as someone else pointed out here, Clooney would have been only a tot at the time of this movie. Clooney's father, Nick, only did a couple of screen appearances prior to 1960 and that was all, so it is unlikely to have been him.
Guess we'll never know who the mystery man is - I also couldn't figure out anything from the cast credits on IMDB. He certainly had striking looks that should have taken him further.
