Maybe it explains this in the movie but I havent seen it....I just saw now on another website this term and was wondering why they called the battle the "battle of the Bulge"
Can someone please explain to me?

It refers to the 'bulge' caused in the Allies battle line.
As the Germans attcked, the Allies were forced to withdraw to better defensive positions and this caused a large pocket in the Allie's lines to form.
